Bill, I liked the calmness with which you presented to your company. It gives a sense of assureness. About the message details, when you ended with positive note is encouraging.
While I was listening to the audio, I imagined as if you were standing up giving a speech. I liked "Greetings everyone!" and find it more appropriate than "Dear ..." especially when giving a speech. Well done, Bill!
Bill this was a fantastic audio message! Your tone of voice definitely portrays your confidence in your employees and business that they WILL deliver exceptional results in the future.
I thought you did a great job presenting a difficult message. Your tone matched the message you were presenting well. It was low when you were presenting the poor results, and then your positive emotions came through as you spoke of the bright future you believed were ahead. Nice work.
Bill, you have great vocal tone and you matched it to your message nicely. While I understand that wanted to put a positive shine on the firings, I always endorse caution in the way we talk about these events. You made it sound like an acceptable sacrifice. If I were an employee, I may find myself wondering if I was an acceptable sacrifice. If one of them was my friend, I'd be pissed. When talking about a hard event, let it be hard to talk about without trying to justify it. Let it hurt because is hurts. Mature people can draw their own conclusions as to whether the sacrifice was worth it. Hope this makes sense.
